Assault Boonie
2014
Dutch Tactical Gear started in 2014 with the introduction of the Assault Boonie in NLD Woodland, specifically developed to meet the needs of the Dutch armed forces. Designed with direct input from soldiers, this boonie combines functionality, comfort, and durability in the field. Its lightweight yet robust construction and smaller brim makes it the personal favorite of many soldiers.
Combat Pants
2018
In 2018, Dutch Tactical Gear once again responded to the requests of Dutch soldiers by developing their own Combat Pants in NLD Woodland. Built for durability and comfort, these pants were tailored to the operational demands of the armed forces.
Combat Shirts
2019
In 2019, Dutch Tactical Gear expanded its range with the introduction of combat shirts. These were launched in the key camouflage patterns NLD Woodland, US Woodland, and Multicam. The addition marked an important step in providing soldiers with durable and mission-ready apparel tailored to their operational environments.
Protecting the emergency services
2019
In 2019, Dutch Tactical Gear supplied several regions of the ambulance service with body armor as the new uniform was introduced. The vest was designed to combine visability and protection, ensuring paramedics could safely perform their critical work.
Providing whats needed
2020
In 2020, Dutch Tactical Gear started bringing practical pouches and smart accessories to the market. From the (covert) horizontal handcuff pouch for police officers to glove holders, patches, carry bags, key holders, and more, each product was designed with functionality in mind. This marked the beginning of DTG’s mission to provide reliable and innovative gear for professionals in the field.
Netherlands Fractal Pattern
2021
In 2021, Dutch Tactical Gear began producing its own products for the Dutch armed forces in the new Netherlands Fractal Pattern (NFP), which was introduced to the military in 2029. Just as it once started for Dutch Tactical Gear, the first product was again the boonie and combat pants with knee pads. This marked the beginning of a new line of high-quality gear tailored to the demands of modern soldiers.
Expanding into pouches
2022
In 2022, Dutch Tactical Gear expanded its product range in NFP with the launch of its own combat pants, magazine pouches, admin pouches, and more. This step marked a significant move toward offering a complete tactical gear line tailored to the needs of Dutch soldiers. The products were developed with a strong focus on functionality, durability, and modern operational requirements.
First plate carrier
2023
In 2023, Dutch Tactical Gear introduced its first plate carrier in NFP: the Plate Carrier WOLV. Built on proven designs, it integrates direct feedback from the issued vest used by the Dutch armed forces. The WOLV is easily adjustable, accommodates both soft and hard armour in a single system, and is tailored to fit the protection standards of the Dutch military.
Much more to come
2025+
From 2025 onwards, Dutch Tactical Gear continues to push innovation with high-end solutions tailored for the Dutch armed forces, police, and professional first responders. Their focus remains on delivering gear that combines reliability, comfort, and mission-driven functionality. With ongoing development, DTG ensures that those on the front line are equipped with products that meet the highest standards.
